To use the wmic command to get the serial number of your laptop, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Command Prompt by clicking the Start button, then typing “cmd” into the search box and pressing Enter.
  2. In the Command Prompt window, type wmic bios get serialnumber and press Enter. The serial number of the laptop’s BIOS will be displayed in the command prompt window.

You can also use the wmic command to get other information about your laptop, such as the manufacturer, model, and version of the BIOS. For example, you can use the following command to get the manufacturer and model:

wmic computersystem get manufacturer, model

You can find a list of all the available wmic commands by typing wmic /? into the Command Prompt and pressing Enter.

Keep in mind that the serial number may also be printed on the laptop itself, often on the bottom of the case or on the back of the screen. You can also try looking for a sticker with the serial number on it in the battery compartment or on the back of the lapto
